User Trial 2009

B&O Medicom has executed a user trial with the LEVA® auto injector during the summer of 2009. 76 patients from 4 different patient populations were interviewed; rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and non-patients.

The user trial consisted of two parts. Part I was a preference study, where the end users’ immediate perception of LEVA® was compared to other auto injectors. The focus of the preference study was user friendliness of the devices.

Part II was a test of LEVA®. The end users performed an injection with LEVA® in a test cushion and afterwards commented on questions relating to the injection performance and LEVA® in general. The focus in Part II was on usage, function and design.
