Bang & Olufsen Medicom is now majority owned by LD equity, a Danish equity management fund and the current management of B&O Medicom. It's mother company, Bang & Olufsen has retained 35% of shares within the company.

The new structure will allow Medicom to access new funding for development and will involve the creation of a new management board.

Speaking on behalf of Medicom, CEO Henrik Kagenow has said, "I welcome this announcement as I believe it is a positive development for Medicom."
