A new development allows electronic monitoring as the device can be connected via a USB cable to a computer and the investigator can easily download a precise pattern of the patients’ tablet-taking behaviour.

Helping Hand Data Capture has been launched in Europe and is currently applied in clinical trials and post marketing surveillance studies in a number of European countries. The Helping Hand is CE-marked and registered as a medical device.
