CEO – Henrik Kagenow

Henrik Kagenow has been CEO of Bang & Olufsen Medicom A/S since its formation in 1999.  Henrik was brought in to the company in 1997 to turn the former subsidiary known as Bang & Olufsen Technology into a focused medical entity, an exercise which led to the formation of Bang & Olufsen Medicom in 1999. Henrik holds a M.Sc. Pharm. from the Danish University of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Copenhagen and has over 20 years experience in the medtech industry at various managerial levels. Today, Henrik is a member of the board in Medicom, chairman of the board at the Engineering College in Aarhus, member of the board at Medico Industrien, a trade organization for the medical device industry in Denmark, and is also an advisor to the early stage venture fund INCUBA.

 

CFO - Lars Rahbek
Lars Rahbek is CFO in Bang & Olufsen Medicom with responsibility for Corporate Finance, Human Resources, Legal Matters and IT. Lars holds a M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business. In 2007, Lars joined the company with previous experiences from the biotech and the medtech industries among others, and he has also worked some years in China. 

 

Vice President, R&D and Operations - Søren Vestergård Jacobsen

Søren Vestergård Jacobsen is the Vice President of R&D and Operations at the Tech Center in Struer, Denmark. Søren holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Aalborg University. Søren joined Medicom in 2000 and has significant prior experience from the medical industry. In 2004 he was appointed head of Research & Development and in connection with the establishment of the Bizz Center in Copenhagen in 2004 he was appointed General Manager for the Tech Center in Struer. In early 2007 Søren was appointed Vice President of R&D and Operations.

 

Vice President, Sales & Marketing – Peter W. Ravn

Peter W. Ravn is Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Peter holds a M.Sc. in economics from Aarhus University, Denmark, and a MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK.  Peter joined B&O Medicom in 2007 and he has a background from pharmaceutical marketing and business development with Pfizer in Denmark and in the UK, and in international marketing with Novo Nordisk and from sales & marketing with IBM.
