Dedicated Drug Delivery Device Services

Medicom was founded 20 years ago as a supplier of highly recognised diabetes pen systems. We later expanded into development and supply of inhalation services, solutions and other medical technology areas. Thus our core business is customer focused development and supply of medical devices and not least expert competencies in mastering the full process from the first ideas and concepts to the final, large scale supply of the device.

Being a leading, innovative provider of drug delivery device services and technologies enables our customers to shortcut development time by outsourcing complex design, development and manufacturing tasks to us.

We are dedicated to injection, inhalation and tablet dispensing and offer extensive and deep competencies to reach world class drug delivery devices in these areas. We offer, in addition to the dedicated areas, years of experience with diagnostic devices, nasal inhalation, regulatory issues for medical devices and many other highly specialised DDD competencies.

To check out if we are able to assist you please contact Peter Ravn, VP Sales & Marketing, at: +45 61 20 05 04 or pwr@medicomnordic.com

Easy Access to Helping Hand and Helping Hand Data Capture

The Helping Hand and the Helping Hand data Capture has during the years been actively used by more than 15 major pharmaceutical companies. The purpose has been to improve patient outcome of treatment as well as to differentiate the drug versus competition or in the case of the Helping Hand Data Capture - to improve data accuracy and collection in clinical trials.

Having supplied the devices to such a large number of customers mean that we today have a significant selection of standard sizes for both devices. This may be an opportunity for you to get easier, quicker and low cost access to the devices compared with needing versions customised to your brand's blister size.

If you would like to check out if your drug fits a standard size please contact Malene Knudsen, Product Manager at: +45 42 12 59 08 or mlk@medicomnordic.com

B&O Medicom Products at the International Design Biennial 15-30 Nov. 2008 in Saint Étienne

DEDANS, DEHORS, AUTOUR. ÉTATS DU CORPS
[INSIDE, OUTSIDE, AROUND. BODY STATES]

The medical field which the exhibition is covering stretches from the inside of the body to the body’s environment, and also includes support, appliances and personal services.
Expectations in terms of invention, innovation and competitiveness, together with the very diverse areas that it calls for (sciences, techniques, materials, telecommunications, anthropology, sociology, art…) make medical design a particularly rich area, which until now has been subject to little attention.

Companies in this sector, designers and professionals will be exhibiting projects based around four themes: inside the body – outside the body – around the body and properties providing medical facilities. Exhibited B&O Medicom products are the Helping Hand tablet dispenser and the Stethoscope exclusively for 3MTM Littmann®.
